This exciting event brings together athletes of all levels to compete in swimming, cycling and running in the beautiful town of Stratford. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or trying it out for the first time, this event offers a challenging and rewarding experience.
Offering an indoor pool swim at Stratford Leisure Centre in the picturesque and historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Warwickshire Triathlon has seen thousands of competitors take on the challenge of swim, bike and run with a fun & friendly atmosphere and great support from the cheering crowds.
The event is aimed at all abilities and all levels of fitness, from complete novice to club and pro triathlete, as well as charity and fun competitors.
The race starts from the 33 metre heated indoor pool in the leisure centre, followed by a one lap cycle course which heads out towards the town of Warwick, in the Warwickshire countryside, before returning to Stratford for the final discipline.
The run is out alongside the picturesque river Avon and back to the Leisure and Visitor Centre to the finish line. The run course is once out and back for The Fun Triathlon and twice out and back for the Sprint and Relay Triathlon.
The course is spectator friendly and all the action can be seen at the rear of the Leisure Centre where the main transition area and finish line are situated.

Swim course distance: 1 length = 33m
Sprint & Sprint Relay: 33m length x 12 lengths = 400m
Super Sprint & Fun: 33m length x 6 lengths = 200m
Bike course distance: 1 lap = 18km
Sprint & Relay: 18km lap x 1 lap = 18km
Super Sprint & Fun: 18km lap x 1 lap = 18km
Run course distance: 1 lap = 2.5km
Sprint & Relay: 2.5km lap x 2 laps = 5km
Super Sprint & Fun: 2.5km lap x 1 lap = 2.5km

Full and up to date competitor race day information with your race number and start time will be emailed to you 7-10 days before the event. Please check spam/junk folders.
WE DO NOT POST ANYTHING OUT - you will collect your race numbers, stickers, etc. at registration on the day.

Choose your favourite discipline, then invite friends or teammates to join and complete your relay team.
(Age restrictions apply)
A relay team can consist of two or three people.
Each member of the relay team completes one or two of the three disciplines in the triathlon.
The swimmer completes the swim, then the swimmer passes the electronic chip to the cyclist inside the cycle transition area.
The cyclist completes the cycle course and passes the electronic chip to the runner in the transition area.
The runner completes the run and hands in the electronic chip at the finish line.
All team members can cross the finish line together and collect their medals.
We award first place in the Female Relay Event and first place in the Open/Mixed Category Relay Event.
All Open/Mixed Category teams can consist of two or three people, male or female.

The CRUK Wave is aimed at encouraging more participants, of any age, gender, or ability to unite and take on a challenge for the purpose of funding life-saving research into all 200 types of cancer.
We want to encourage everyone to have a go! Just get together for the camaraderie and challenge, whilst raising vital funds for research into beating cancer. UK Triathlon will donate £10 from every CRUK Wave entry to Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1089464) and Scotland (No. SC041666)

The idea behind #TriTogether is that people often feel more comfortable taking on a challenge like a triathlon if they have a friend to take part with. We want to encourage everyone to Tri, be that competitively or simply just for the fun of it.
To join the #TriTogether wave, once you & your friend have submitted your entries, please fill in the request form below, & we will add you both to the non-competitive #TriTogether wave.

Your estimated swim time is used to place you on the start list. We try to ensure that you are swimming with other competitors of a similar ability. This helps alleviate the need for overtaking in the pool.
