The North West Kids Fun Duathlon is a fantastic event designed for young athletes to have a blast while staying active in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.
Participants will enjoy a carefully mapped-out course that includes running and cycling, allowing them to explore new challenges without the pressure of competition.
With friendly marshals throughout the route prioritising safety and support, kids can focus on having fun and making new friends. This event is all about encouraging a love for fitness and outdoor activity, creating a memorable experience for every young athlete!
NB: There will be a promotional video being filmed at the event so please be aware of this.

Full and up to date competitor race day information with your race number and start time will be emailed to you 7-10 days before the event. Please check spam/junk folders.
WE DO NOT POST ANYTHING OUT - you will collect your race numbers, stickers, etc. at registration on the day.

Every child will receive their own individual start time, the times provided above are a rough guide to help you plan any transport/accommodation/childcare needs that may arise. These are only a guide and subject to change.
The registration tent will be open for the duration of the event. We advise that all Race Packs are collected at least one hour before their start times.
Choose your favourite discipline, then invite friends or family to join and complete your relay team.
Create a fun family relay! The brother completes the first run, the sister cycles and the cousin finishes the second run.
(All team members must be 5-16 years old)
A relay team can consist of two or three people.
Each member completes one or two of the three disciplines in the duathlon.
One runner completes the first run and then passes the wristband to the cyclist.
The cyclist completes the cycle course and passes the wristband to the second runner.
The runner completes the second run.
All team members can cross the finish line together and collect their medals.
